That is where I am on this. Saturday is a leader, and he will surround himself with good tacticians to do the little stuff and he will do the stuff that makes all the difference.

Either that or as another buddy theorized: Irsay popped a couple of pills and then did the bubble gum, bubble gum thing w/ the names of everyone in the ROH .

Joking aside what is interesting is that at least the IndyStar reported that John Fox was taking over. Maybe Fox agreed to it last night and then changed his mind after sleeping on it.
IndyStar makes up shit and speculates with no real details. That is why Doyel still has a job.

What I know is that he won't stick his head in the play call sheet and hope that's where the answers come from.

As far as I am concerned, Irsay is one of the biggest culprits of what has happened to his franchise ! Now he is desperate, and I hate saying this, but he may be tanking !

I don’t think Irsay is looking for the next long term answer here. You all saw what Sunday was, a complete mental/emotional melt down. This team needs to rebuild with at least some of these same players getting back to close to what they were. They need to get shit together and start becoming a team. Saturday can help facilitate this. He knows how to lead men, did it on the field and off the field for years. I hope it works out but am still pessimistic. It’s a tough ask.

If they are tanking for a QB, they better have either the first or second pick this year,

None of that is happening. You can't implement a new offense mid-season. We don't even know who will call plays or insert the offense week to week. This has to be a tank job of epic proportions. Otherwise, it is massive incompetence in action. Saturday is probably there just to report who they should keep and not going forward. Full rebuild I expect.

Thats why I think Reich resigned. He had enough.
