I think Reich got a raw deal. He’s not a bad coach but Vince Lombardi couldn’t win with that offensive line.

I have to think Ballard isn’t far behind. Hell, this is his fault more than it is Franks.

Makes the most sense. Teflon Ballard has repeatedly hung him out to dry. If the QB switch wasn’t his decision then it makes a lot of sense.

I think this caught Irsay by surprise. So he scrambled to Saturday. First thing, you can’t win anything changing your QB every year.

Second, you need a left tackle to protect your QB. I really would like to keep Ballard, but he doesn’t have sense of urgency about certain issues.

This season was done the moment they switched to Ehlinger.

Ultimately, I think it's Andrew Luck's fault and Jim Irsay's fault. That was a torpedo hit and it ultimately sunk the ship. Luck for doing what he did, and Jim for not doing what he should have done and hit the reset button right then. It doesn't matter now though. This has been 3 years 2 months and 2 weeks coming.

So Frank resigns and assistants turn down job knowing what has been going on and not wanting to further taint their resumes?

Should have bit the bullet and sucked for a QB. They might have hoped Luck came back also. It hasn’t been great Qb drafts though. Fields was probably the guy they should have tried for.

Can’t blame Luck anymore. That was 4 years ago. That’s an eternity in the NFL.

The one at fault is the one who decided to bandaid the qb position every year instead of doing whatever it took to find a franchise guy.

Irsay doesn’t have a clue. He was handed two generational QBs in a row and barely has shit to show for it. This is back to the 80’s crap. I’m really glad I’ve already learned how to root for this team without putting any emotional energy into it. I will keep rooting because it will be so damn sweet when we get back, but it is going to be a long shitty ride before we get there

I hope you're right, but I don't share your optimism. I feel like I'm watching a friend make a series of really bad decisions, but they won't listen to anyone and there's nothing that can be done to stop them.

Three years, two months, and two weeks ago. Saying "4 years" is shorting it by nine and a half months. An entire pregnancy amount of time.

The bandaid guy is Jim.
