My folks are not young. To make matters worse they were both Feds. Pops was a Marine vet and worked for the GSA, Mama was with FPS before entering GSA after Pops retired. My mom has been telling me for years now that her pension is getting stretched further and further, and now I hear the situation could potentially get even worse. They are also trying to take care of my Father's 93 year old sister with moderate dementia who lacks the means to afford the necessary memory care she needs.

My Sister chose to ignore this because she is worried about herself. To an extent I understand, because eventually you make your own family and have to live your own life. What gets me hot is who does she think is going to help our folks out when they finally hit bottom? My wife and I discussed this at length this morning over breakfast and came to the conclusion that if My sister's family had no problem with an administration that is apparently hanging them out to dry, that is their burden to carry.

That aside, one of my biggest frustrations with Trump is that he says his tax plan is so kind to the middle class, when one of the largest cornerstones of it is the repeal of the Estate Tax (now called the Death Tax by the GOP).

How can that possibly help the middle class, or how can it possibly help our country? Is the tax of assets bequeathed to others really any sort of barrier to economic growth?

The lowest tax rate is currently 10%, that will raise to 12%, how can people expect this to be any sort of economic stimulant. Not to mention that the majority of people paying that lowest tax rate are something other than white.

It's not a bad label when it's a legitimate. When it's someone that feels compelled enough to express their very strong sense of social justice on facebook but doesnt know the name of any of their congressmen it takes on a certain stigma.

When it comes to taxes I am pretty libertarian, taxation is theft. We had roads, bridges, libraries, firemen and policemen before the IRS and the beginning of the giant albatross hanging around our neck. I don't have a lot nice to say about any of them. I am a constitutionality kinda guy. Both sides cherry pick the parts they wanna champion, or cuss when it prevents them their agenda. If it doesn't effect my everyday life, fuck it. If it becomes detrimental to my life and you can't fix it, kill it.

I believe in closed borders, you want to come here and enjoy the American dream it should be hard. It should be damned hard.

A lot of my philosophy falls under the Libertarian flag, but there also a few that nowhere close represents my thinking. Their nap is shit. I 100% condone violence to settle some issues. When confronted with aggression my philosophy is meet it head on with an unspeakable evil that would make the devil quiver in disgust.

I've been putting it this way: I may have disagreed with policies of past presidents (Obama's furthering of Patriot Act, Bush's war agenda / Patriot Act birthing etc.) but I always viewed these presidents as legitimate presidents, respected them for it, and would gladly shake their hand if I ever met them.

I don't view Donald Trump as presidential or representative of America in the slightest. I would not shake his hand.

I don't think it's ludicrous at all. Trump and the GOP endorsed a man who is facing multiple credible accusations of pedophilia. After saying that he knew one of these girls and signed her highschool yearbook, he stated that he did not know any of these women. A man who said publicly that the last time America was "Great" was when we had slavery:
