Was just wondering how the new Stadium is coming along.
Being that I live down here in the Sooner State, I have to rely on pics or video images. Anyone have any pics or Videos on it? It sounds like its going to be an awesome place. |

Actually the place is growing by leaps and bounds and the housing market is one of the few places in the U.S. that is not experiencing devaluation. They "cleaned" the place up alot and the massage parlors and strip clubs were pretty much moved out into the county and out of the city. Goodyear has a plant here. Fort Sill and Lawton became Lawton/Ft.Sill about 8 years ago. Many stores, eateries and companies moving in believe it or not. A shopping/entertainment area is currently underway a mile north and 1/2 mile west of the mall. It will encompass about a 1 x 2 mile area. You still have the Great Plains National Wildlife Preserve with Texas Longhorn, Deer, Rattlesnake, and the American Bison (Buffalo). I enjoy watching Buffalo roam and eat as the Sun is rising on my way to work. Can't see that too many places, and its kinda priceless to me. You can kind of imagine what the west looked like 200 years ago in some places. Oklahoma City will have an NBA team in a year or two (the Sonics are moving here and will have a new name etc.) Rocklahoma 2008 will be held in Pryor, OK from July 10-13th. The Largest Outdoor Music Festival in the World. Last year they had 140,000 people from all over the world attend and a pretty good lineup. This year they are expecting 160,000-200,000. Oklahoma is not as backwoods as alot of people may think. |

Doesn't sound too bad. It's not like Hoosiers have a whole lot to brag about. |

Yeah its not bad. But I still have alot of good memories from my days growing up in Indiana.
I still try to get up there every other year or so. Might have to go check out some training camp this summer. Have not been to it, since the summer before last. |

Well, here when I stop at an adult massage parlor, you have to ask for "the happy ending" up yonder, it was just expected.

I met this girl in basic training from OKC, it was nice to head up to her apartment on the weekends. I got a ticket from an airplane on my way there once, and discovered island gas stations. So I left some memories up there, glad to hear it's come around!
