Specifically the ST coach. That's his freaking job

Hopefully the win AR needs to gain some confidence. Would also help if Steichen would call some easier plays for AR to hit. Don't have to go four verts every play.

Really dumb situational football.

The sign of a poorly coached team.

What’s so frustrating is that AR can make those throws. We’ve seen him do it.

It’s in his head at this point.

And Steichen seems DETERMINED to make him a pocket passer.

C.J. Stroud was removed from the game in the 4th quarter of a 34-7 blowout loss to the Vikings this afternoon.

I'd like to see more of what they did last year, scheme up concepts to get him easy completions. The screen to JT was a great example. More of that, please.

That was my favorite play of the game.

It’s definitely in his head. That throw to Mitchel shows it IMO. He actually put too much air under it trying to throw with touch. I’m optimistic he’ll get there.

I blame both.

These players have been playing organized football for the better part of their lives. Even if the coach specifically ordered the returner to down the ball in the end-zone, he still should have run it out of the end-zone. In fact, if the coach(es) were stupid enough to give an order like that, the player then should have said, l "Coach, what the hell are you talking about ??? I'm running the ball out of the end-zone, because I don't want to give them them extra time-out with the 2-minute warning."

So yes, the coaches had their heads up their asses not to be on top of that, but so did the players ...... you shouldn't need your coach to tell you EVERYTHING, especially with such a fundamental situation such as that.

The problem is right now AR can't even hit the easy throws consistently. The overthrow to Downs and JT's "drop" are about as easy as it gets. Also, AR's picks weren't difficult throws (at least w/ the right read they shouldn't have been).
