We have the tenth currently. We won't get the 1st or 2nd. And I'm not a fan of the QB's in this draft. Young is short and skinny. Stroud is Dwayne Haskins 2.0. Levis is really inconsistent. I might gamble on Richardson but he is a huge project who would ironically fit into Reich's system. No surefire QB's this draft.

I would look at Tanner McKee later on.

Granted that the hire of Jeff Saturday came out of left field, and that there were other coaches who seemed to be more obvious choices. But…

You weren’t going to do someone like Ventrone any favor by making him the sacrificial interim head coach. Let him coach out the season, then interview him without the shadow of a 1-8 stint as interim coach hanging over him.

Yep. Stroud and Young seem to be the runaway, consensus #1 and #2, but I'm not a fan of either. Don't feel like either of them have "high-probability franchise QB" potential. Of course I'm not as keen on pro-talent-prospects in football as I am in basketball. Just don't get that franchise QB feel from Young or Stroud.

Thats why I think Reich resigned. He had enough.
It's possible he and Irsay got into it and he said, "fire me then"....but does it really matter? It should have been done at the end of last season!

Another underwhelming QB draft. Maybe we will fuck even more and trade 2 firsts for Aaron Rodgers. It would fit with the pattern.

There are no first round qbs I would consider outside of Levis, and he definitely needs time for development and a friendly system. With a very high pick I’d def go with Anderson, the edge rusher from Alabama. For picks in the 8-10 range, OT Skoronski should be there.

I think they handed him an impossible situation. I also don't think he wanted to fire Brady or bench Ryan.

I think Irsay is just like, no more mediocrity, just go for a new young QB. The problem is I wouldn't do that in this draft. Unless you want to take on a project at the position. It's too bad because I think Reich would have done well coaching a young QB up.

Reich had a top ten offense every year except this one and the Brisset year.

I would go with the LT from Penn State. Guy is a natural and will be a monster. But there are about four underclassmen LT's that should be good.

Hopefully the truth comes out tonight. IMO, it was Reich who made every move from Ryan to Brady, to his dismissal. The Christian in him could not let it go on any longer.

I disagree. I think this is all Irsay. NFL radio has had several guys on close with Frank and they were all saying he would never fire his coordinator mid-season and Ehlinger is not ready to play. Its pretty obvious. This screams Irsay calling the shots now. And now Saturday which is out of left field.
