I find that perplexing for a win now team with a 1-2 year window to not use that capital to help win a SB now.

For not having a first round pick, I can't imagine Day 1 having gone better for the Colts. Titans and Texans both burned draft capital to reach for players, only 13 defensive players were taken, and there's a ton of talent left on the board at WR and CB, which means we should see a very high quality EDGE or LB at 47 or in the 50s after a trade back.

And not one player taken after the Jets pick at 16 is even close to having Sauce as our pick

The Titans may have reached for Faulk but they took Tate right about where he was supposed to go and didn’t give up any picks to do it.

Tate is going to be a good player teamed up with Ward and Daboll.

Personally, I thought that Josh Allen made Daboll look pretty good in Buffalo. The only reason he stuck around in New York as long as he did was because Mara was uncomfortable with gaining a reputation for being an owner who churned through coaches like the Jets.
