Get ready for even MORE blitzes.

Sheesh.
Colts are apparently so desperate to win the division (that was literally created to showcase Peyton Manning to a Southern college football fan audience) that they're willing to cripple the new franchise QB of the next 2+ seasons.
It is wild and shows no faith in Riley Leonard who was drafted solely because he went to Notre Dame.

A fractured tibia can be anything from a clean break to a tiny fissure that barely breaks the periosteum (which would have no real structural damage to the bone). We have no idea what it is but I would guess it isn't something that puts his career in jeopardy

Youngblood broke his leg late in the 4th quarter of a 1979 divisional playoff game against the Cowboys. That tackle that Youngblood made may have saved the game for the Rams (I remember watching it on TV when I was in 9th grade.) Youngblood then played 2 games on that broken leg (the NFC Championship game and the Super Bowl.)

Lest we forget Gino Marchetti breaking his ankle (is that worse than a leg?) on a 3rd and 1 in the '58 championship game. Now Gino didn't continue to play, but he refused to leave the sidelines for treatment.

There’s no way they’d let him continue to play if doing so was in any way career threatening.

It's actually a fractured fibula. Working in a construction trade that can be unforgiving I do know that the severity of a bone fracture can vary considerably. The tibia is also the primary weight bearing bone in the lower leg.

My bad, yep wrong bone. Must be a really slight fracture for them to decide he can play. This game is all about Steichen, this is a game where he MUST be much much much better at designing a scheme that keeps the hellions off his QB.

Me also, need to get my bones straight. Either way his career isn't in any jeopardy. I love the guys mindset and will be rooting for him big time.

o

It could be a stress-fracture, which long-distance runners occasionally get.

A stress-fracture is a crack in the bone, with no dislocation of said bone.

Stress-fractures heels on their own, over time.

So, DJ has a broken leg?

Well, he is a Colt

I guess we have to euthanize him.
