Watch the replay from all angles, and I don't believe that the injury was a result of the sack alone. I believe that it was another example of AR's immaturity, when he tried to slap the defenders hand away, when the defender was going for the ball.

The AR injury concerns are warranted, for sure. I'm not sure this play should necessarily exacerbate that beyond the initial facepalm.

It's preseason, so they're not going to play through much of anything. We already lived through the apocalypse when he missed like three days of mini camp with soreness. Now the world ended again, except he's full participation at practice two days later.

The thing to worry about on the play is the missed read. He needs the continued experience.

Where are these different angles available to watch in which you can see that his right pinky was injured due to a slap at the defender's hand ???

Luckily there was no break or tear. He'll be sore, but he's not out. He said he couldn't squeeze right away, but after a few plays, he was ready to go back out.
Well, maybe this is the best case scenario. He gets rocked, hurts his finger to the point where he's taken out but it's nothing serious, and maybe, just maybe, he remembers to hit Giddens when he sees the unblocked guy coming to him.

Probably not, but hey, I still want to have faith in this guy.

No kidding. The hot takes about a play in a preseason game are just baffling to me.

On YouTube. I'm not saying definitively that the slap of the hand is what caused the injury. What I'm saying is that the video evidence along with human nature suggests that is what happened.

1. Unless AR's hand was hit by the helmet or perhaps the shoulder pad of the defender, or AR was breaking his fall, then I don't see anything that suggests that the injury was a result of the hit itself. I see no video evidence, that any of the above occurred.

2. What player in their right mind, who has a painfully injured hand, then takes said injured hand just to slap an opponents hand away, risking further injury?

Where on youtube do you see these different angles that you said there were? I couldn't find various angles of the hit.

You recommended that I watch it from all of the angles, so just tell me a specific video/videos in which I can see these various angles that you say shows Richardson slapping at the defender's hand with his own right hand. I'm not doubting that you saw it, I would just like to see it, too.
