Yeah you are right - earlier picks aren’t statistically better. I must be misremembering all the Ballard defense on not drafting a QB and missing on elite DEs. It’s not a guarantee so it’s worthless. Of course the vet QB route hasn’t worked yet either so I’m curious why they’d even try with Flacco. Maybe they should try a street FA QB? That hasn’t proven to not be guaranteed yet.
