You get to set up the situation you want to work on-ie 30 seconds left, you are on your own 40 down by 2 with one time out-whatever situation you want to work on you get to. And it isn't for only 2 or 3 sets, you get 20-30 plays to run, all of them what you as an offense want to work on. Makes sense that AR/Steichen get more out of that than a shittly exhibition game.

At R/H, you were close to the players at the practice area and when they had a live scrimmage at the R/H stadium you could hear EVERYTHING.

Things change not always for the better. Irsay and family have a good record with the fans. Since Jim took over, he has always put the fans first. The business Taylor and now AR is a departure from how they have communicated with the fans.

Its very odd that the Colts want to keep AR working without the rest of the starting offensive group

The Colts ultimately decided to hold starting quarterback Anthony Richardson out of Saturday night’s 24-17 preseason win over the Chicago Bears because the coaching staff believed the rookie quarterback had gotten enough work in two joint practices earlier this week.

Richardson handled more than 70 first-team snaps against the Bears on Wednesday and Thursday.

Because of those snaps, the Bears and Colts decided to hold most of their starters out of the preseason game, and Richardson’s status as a rookie didn’t alter Indianapolis head coach Shane Steichen’s decision.

Also, playing 1-2 series w/ backups and against backups in a preseason game isn't going to be this huge detriment to AR's development that you and Doyel seem to think it is.

I’ve seen multiple reports that says Colts have to drag AR off the field because he tries to stay and sign every autograph
