Yeah I know, I'm not begrudging the guy, just saying that making a cool million a year snapping a football, is good work. Not implying anyone could do it, I'm sure it's not easy and the pressure is on, because you may only need to screw up once to lose your job!
Personally though...I don't think Rhodes could carry Justin Snow's jockstrap!

Matt Overton never put a foot wrong either from what i can remember.
We have had some consistent Long Snappers over the past 20 years or so. |

There’s no reason at all that Ballard didn’t bring in at least one or two veterans to compete. |

Let's not start thinking logically about the OL. Ballard's crystal ball has assured him that not only will all of our starters improve upon the somewhat improvement of later in the year but that they will also remain healthy for the entire season. It also assured him that the whole Pryor/Pinter debacle was a slight malfunction and that it has been fixed now.

Let me ask it again. What players should he have signed? Which draft picks should have been skipped in favor of an OL player?

Anyone know if the guy Pharaoh pinned was the same who hit Dulin?

But my arm chair GMing is neither here nor there. As I've said quite a bit: it's not my job to make the Colts better, it's Ballard's. And a big reason why the Colts sucked last year was b/c the OL was a complete shit show, which was his making. He even admitted that he made a big mistake with the OL. Sure doesn't seem like he learned anything from those mistakes though b/c the OL was clearly not a priority in the offseason . Hope his huge gamble to stand pat pays off, but I'm not going to hold my breath.
