I agree, he did nothing in my eyes, yes he got a few sacks, but most of those were not due to something special that he did himself and even Ben Banogu may have got the same production, if he was given the same chances. He wasn't creating anything close to havoc for offensive tackles, and was a complete liability against the run.

Looks like neither player involved in that trade stuck with their new team. Ya-Sin signed with the Ravens today.

They nearly drafted a whole secondary. 4 DBs, the shortest one is 6'1", and all if them are fairly high end athletes even by NFL standards.

As I stated earlier we definitely loaded up at CB. But you can never have enough at CB, and playing too prominent of a role this season might be too much to ask for a 5th and 7th rounder. Also, I read that Brents is still recovering from a wrist injury and will have to play catch up in training camp.

If there's one thing Ballard is good at finding on Day 3, it's DBs. Half of the starting secondary for next season was picked in Round 6 or later, 60% if you want to count nickel as a staring position and UDFA Kenny Moore as a starter.

Very pleased we didn't bring Rock or Yannick back. They were ok and ok isn't good enough for Ballard and this team. They keep swinging for the fences with the draft. Do it enough times and you will eventually hit. Lets hope it was this year.
