When you're firing a coach mid-year its a given that you've thrown in the towel to some extent. Has an interim coach ever rescued a team from disaster and over-achieved? (I'm sure there might be 1 or 2 examples of this, sometimes teams have a brief bump in effort and eke out a few extra wins, but nothing like taking a basement team and turning them into a playoff team)

What fucking disaster? Didn’t anyone watch yesterday, THAT already is a disaster, Saturday certainly won’t do worse. People talk like they actually believe we are one head coach away from competing. Even if Saint Vince himself walked thru that door himself this season has been gone for weeks, if not months. Good for Frank-he isn’t an evil guy and now maybe he can get himself a semblance of a life. Good for Jeff, I think. Bastard finds himself in a shit show. Good for Colt fans-maybe we can stop having sweet sweet news conferences and start calling these assholes out. Is Ballard far behind?

NFL radio says Reich resigned. That firing of Brady, the QB change and everything else was too much and Reich said no more.

Good for him. He just did it 2 weeks too late.

If he can fix that group of frauds, just get his place in Canton ready right now.

I know y'all won't care, but I've been living this since 2018. I've seen it before. I'm a Manchester United fan and Colts fan. In December of 2018, United hired former team legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as interim manager. They had a big bounce and then hired him as permanent manager the following year. It went okay for a year or so and then it fell apart spectacularly. They were worse than they had been before. They're much better now, but still have a lot of work to do. And now, apparently, I get to watch that again here. Great.
