The rest of the NFL is also incredibly up and down. There is no dominant team, and everyone is beating each other. Even the Eagles the only unbeaten team are far from invincible the Cards had chances yesterday.
I think thats largely dependent on if they can get the Oline shored up. If they dont then we will continue to struggle.

Starting badly has not just been a staple of the Frank Reich era.

Chuck Pagano coached the team for 6 seasons, between 2012 and 2017.

The only season in which Pagano's Colts started well was in 2013.

In the other 5 seasons, the Colts ......

2012: ) Started 2-3 ...... Went 9-2 the rest of the way. ) *

2014: ) Started 0-2 ...... Went 11-3 the rest of the way.

2015: ) Started 3-5 ...... Went 5-3 the rest of the way.

2016: ) Started 3-5 ...... Went 5-3 the rest of the way.

2017: ) Started badly ...... Remained bad for the entire season, finishing at 4-12 overall.

* ) First 4 Games under Chuck Pagano, Last 12 games under Bruce Arians

The Colts then won 9 out of their next 10 games to finish at 10-6, then upset the favored Houston Texans in the playoffs on their homefield in southeastern Texas. They then lost in the divisional playoffs to the Chiefs, who came within an offsides penalty of making it to the Super Bowl before losing in overtime to the Patriots in the AFC championship game.

The difference is none of those offenses were as bad as this one. This one is the worst in the league.

They won’t go from worst in the league to good enough to make the playoffs during the course of the season.

This will have to be addressed in the off-season. I just don’t see any way they can turn this around.

But…. The difference with this team is this is looking like the best defense we’ve ever seen in Indianapolis. How many years were we screaming for big DTs to shutdown the run? Well guess what we have monsters in the middle now

He started 4 games for us at RG last year and did ok, or am I misremembering?

You mean Pinter, right. I pretty sure he played center when Kelly was out.

The site above says he started 3 games last year, doesnt say what position. I think you are right.

I tried to break it down. It looks like Pryor had 3 starts at RT, 1 at LG and 1 at RG in 2021.

I had forgotten that the "Human Turnstile" Julian Davenport had gotten 4 starts last season.

Somehow Pryor seems to be playing worse than I remember Davenport playing in 2021.
