I’m ok going for it after a dropped TD but I’d rather just hand it to Taylor Hines made the wrong read there
That had no affect on the game I’d say the biggest plays were Ryan’s pick, fumble snap and the kickoffs the killed field position when we had all momentum |

Certainly makeable, but 42 yards isn't a chip shot. 21 yards (4th down in question) and 33 yards (where Reich decided to run an RPO boot leg instead of kick it for the win) are though.

The RPO got them the game tying TD

Different circumstances. We needed a TD to tie the game in regulation. All we needed was a FG to win it in OT. If you can't understand that then I (or anyone else on here) can help you.

And while I agree with your point that Reich did Blankenship no favors by moving a critical FG back, it was still moved back to a range that should be makeable for most NFL kickers. To top it off, this is a FG kicker who doesn't have much leg strength. The only way a FG kicker who has weak leg strength should be on a team is if that guy is absolute pure money inside of 45 yards. Like his percentage needs to be near 100%. Last edited by nate505; 09-12-2022 at 11:44 AM. |
