Carr is about the only one I care to give anything up for. I don't want to give Garoppolo the same money we just saved on Wentz plus picks/players to SF. |

For me with Rodgers and Wilson off the board, Carr is the only guy I see as an upgrade possibly available. All the other veteran QBs who will be on the market are one year rentals at based, IMO.
If McDouchbag wants to part ways from him, I don't know that about any price would not be too high to pay for him. His last 4 seasons of completion percentages? 68.4%, 67.3%, 70.4% and 68.9% in 2018. 90 to 41 TD to INT ratio in that same span. Over 4,000 yards passing each of last 4 seasons. 31 years old when the 2022 season starts. He is in the last year of his contract and will cost $19.8m of cap space. We would need to sign him to a long term extension but that is the cost of doing business. His on field and off field leadership is demonstrated. That's the guy I want. If not him, then I don't think it really matters because all the rest are one-year rentals, IMO. |

After the Colts, I always pull for the 49ers and I don't want Crapallo either.

If Ballard wants new employment all he needs to do is sign an average at best qb coming off shoulder surgery. That would do it.

I've been wondering to myself if Ballard has been losing interest in being Colts GM. He's been arrogant in his interviews and doesn't have a QB since you know who quit. It's probably just me, but I can imagine it getting old after five years.

Have the Colts had a losing season with ballard? 1 and they were almost a .500 ball club. If you win more than 3 games, you are not guaranteed a shot at a franchise talent. Its not from a lack of effort. They didnt tank a season, they didnt pull a dolphins.

Don’t disagree, I’d be willing to see what he can do. I’m just not sure he’d come “relatively cheap”. Between how hot the market is and GB needing to save face for drafting him, I don’t think he’d come all that cheap.
