I read that since the 1970 merger of the AFL and the NFL, this is the first time ever that both Super Bowl contestants l WERE NOT l a #1 or a #2 seed ...... the Rams were the #4 seed in the NFC, and the Bengals were the #4 seed from the AFC. o
