Wentz (especially Sunday) is the best option on a team with no capable backup. However, being the best option in this case still means losing the game. Wentz had absolutely no lateral movement ability. In some cases, a simple slide to the right or left would have given him more time, but he couldn't do it. If you really value the man and want him to be the QB, you want him to be healthy. They lost with him being way under par, and how many folks here were even surprised that he was so ineffective? He should have been rested for the week and much more healthy for the Dolphins. An immobile Wentz with a makeshift OL spells trouble. Let him get healthy, let Eason take the ferocious pass rush and let's see what Wentz can do when healthy and the O-line is in tact.

JMV is saying Eason will be let go once Ehlinger is healthy. Eason must have screwed up in some way. |

If and when that happens, slot Ehlinger in at the number 2 spot. Fuck Hundley, not winning shit with him anyway.

Hundley was awful in camp. The fact he has moved above Eason is telling.

Eason must really suck! Wasted a 4th round pick on him.
