Update on Colts QB Carson Wentz: He will see noted foot specialist Robert Anderson in the near future, sources tell me and Rapoport. A firmer timeline for his return will be established at that point. For now, the team is taking solace in Week 1 still being 6 weeks away.

All options are on the table, including a minor surgical procedure. The hope is to avoid it, but it’s possible. Either way, if Carson Wentz misses games it’s not likely to be many.

This is a disaster for the Colts.

They can’t afford for Wentz to miss training camp and preseason with the brutal first part of the schedule and now it’s looking like he’s missing AT LEAST that. Probably more.

This might be the death blow to the season already, 3 days into camp.

i don't like dudes getting injured but his history said that this was a probability.

and i don't think the colts are a good enough team either way to win a super bowl.

Bullshit. They won 11 games with the corpse of Philip Rivers.

With good qb play, this is absolutely a good enough roster to win a super bowl.
