I like this, he's a WR/RB hybrid type. He didn't test well, but flashed at times on film. They might be taking a flier to try to replace Hines.

Hines is likely to get an offer in free agency that we will not try to match, so that makes sense.

Hines is essentially our slot receiver and has been one thing a lot of guys are not. Healthy. I wouldn’t write him off yet.

As a USC fan, I'm going to say right now that Vaughns will not only make the team, but he will be the WR 5, and the punt returner.

GREAT signing.

Bold prediction, but I could certainly see it.

Duke RB Deon Jackson reportedly got $45,000 signing bonus and ran a 4.32-40 at his pro day at 5-11 218 lbs.

Yeah, it was reportedly the highest bonus money this year of all the UDFA's.

For higher profile UDFA's, teams may guarantee a portion of or all of their base salary, too.

For example, TE Kenny Yeboah received $200,000 guaranteed from the Jets - a $20,000 signing bonus and a guaranteed $180,000 base salary.

GREAT signing.

We'll see if Vaughns or one of these other guys can keep the streak alive of an UDFA making the Week 1 roster. It is currently at 22 years, if someone makes it this year, it will be 23.

He had a down year. Kinda surprised he wasn’t drafted.
