Besides having a shitty OL, Luck had two big problems.

1. He would tell the defensive lineman that just pummeled him, "Nice Hit!" I'm sure he meant it, but nothing would ensure that they hit you even harder next time like those words.

2. He never really ever learned to slide very well, if at all. If I were the coach I would have told him to lose the congrats talk after being hit, and in his first off season, I would have hired a seasoned baseball coach to teach him the art of sliding.

Perhaps Tom Arth or Curtis Painter are available and doing nothing?

Too bad Eason is a slow burn but maybe time to also throw him into the deep end if we cannot land a seasoned vet that is semi worth a crap? That said, I really do not want to fall back on the overpriced "Brisket". Just my humble opion.

I would rather roll with eason and OJT than another brissett season.
