Also a good possibility.

I was thinking ballard would like to get a pick for him rather than just let him leave.

He is labeled as a zone corner and not fast enough for man

I wonder if a lot of the work ethic concerns are from his time at Georgia and not Washington. I could see a situation where up until college his talent probably carried him without having to work hard along with too much partying in his early college days.

Ideally I think you're right. I just think that if we're marching towards the playoffs and Eason isn't ready to fill in that Ballard and Reich will want to keep Brissett as insurance in case Rivers gets hurt.

Rumor was he didn't know the whole offense at UW despite a year on the bench. But those are rumors, hard to put much stock in them. I would think the coaching staff has much better access and knowledge. He has the arm, I think he folds a lot under pressure. Colorado just destroyed him this year and he didn't know what to do. There were maturity issues at Georgia I think too. Liked to party. There was speculation that he would do better at a small market than a big market where he has more opportunity to get in trouble.

Still for the 4th round he is a pretty good value.

My gut instinct tells me that Eason is a spoiled, punk ass prima donna, but I hope that's wrong. He and his family (and trophy girlfriend) pouting on the couch with their mad faces on as he fell through the draft order was a baddd look. We shall see.

Good athlete, tough enough to step inside

Damn straight it's good value. It's a gamble, but a low risk/high reward gamble.

I mentioned in the Eason thread that it might be a bit easier to vet in this particular instance.

I would think that current Colts coach Chris Strausser could really dig up information about Eason by talking with former colleagues at UW. Strausser and Eason's time at Washington didn't overlap but Chris will know plenty of people to talk to for intel.

Yes, I noticed that too... Need smack that ego out of him. Needs quit worrying about his endorsements and learn to be a man and not a Diva...
