With the options that should be available, I'll be disappointed if he doesn't take a receiver with one of the first three picks. There are some difference makers who will be available.

When asked directly if he thinks the locker room could take on a character risk, Ballard says that he doesn't think the locker room is there yet. He notes that the roster is still really young and a lot of guys are still finding their footing as pros.
Ballard also notes that he really wants to improve the talent across the D. Omaha will be happy. |

Ballard said they did go after FAs last yr and in a lot of instances the unknown about Lucks future played a part of not signing.

I am all for building the D.
But you need another WR somewhere. I don't care if its draft, FA or trade. And it can't be some second/third rate on the cheap crap like Ryan Grant. Or a 34 year old Andre Johnson Its not like they don't have the FA money to do it. You eventually have to spend some of that money. |
