Steichens comments today were pretty revealing. He said AR was suffering from severe back spasms and legitimately was unable to play.

When asked why he characterized it as “soreness”, he gave some bs answer about wanting to keep injury stuff in house. Then he admitted he shouldn’t have used “soreness” to describe it.

I’m not sure exactly what’s happening in that building but I fear the level of dysfunction is higher than we thought.

I think it’s pretty clear that Steichen and AR don’t have the best relationship. They sure as hell don’t now if they did before.

That’s some total bullshit from Steichen and if I were AR, I’d be livid.
