I appreciate the follow up. It seems we are all feeling something like hope but nobody here is willing to totally believe after the shithsow we have lived through over the last decade. I understand that KC has its back against the wall but feel that the Colts should have a huge chip on their shoulder that negates that. The dudes on this team haven't won shit ever, they now can begin to take their place as an elite team with a dominant win here. Or they can just revert back to what we have been watching for the last decade, mediocre when it really counts. I believe if Jones can play turnover free (mostly stop fumbling the freaking ball) ball we should win.

Gave myself a few hours to digest this. Jones isn't the answer, by that I mean he is no franchise QB. KC stopped the run and dared Jones to beat them. He couldn't run an effective offense without 150 yards from JT. If we win it will not be because of him, everyone else must dominate for him to be effective. He has shown no ability to elevate his game or those around him. I think this team could have a dominant defense if Buckner returns at full strength that could take us on a deep run. But if we are counting on an offense run by Jones to take us to the promise land I have serious doubts we will even sniff it.
