In December of 2010, the New York Jets were beaten by the Patriots by a score of 45-3 ........ a little over a month later, they avenged that loss in the playoff by beating that same Patriots team.

9 years later, and somewhat similarly, the Miami Dolphins were beaten by a score of 43-0 by the New England Patriots in September ........ and then avenged that loss 3 and-a-half months later with a win in the final week of the season. In the process, they KO'd the Patriots from having a 1st-round bye in the post-season.
