Rumors are circulating that the Jets are targeting Peyton for the job. Of course, he is friends with Gase and has vouched for Gase a number of times the various times he was interviewing for jobs. I'm sure that would be one of the coaches that he would be interested in working with if he ever took over a GM job.

Not sure if Peyton is ready yet to devote the amount of time necessary for the job. It would be a grind. Since he retired from playing, he has been very careful and deliberate about considering the various job opportunities available to him.
