Tacks play very good D & they run the ball well. I'm sure they will use Dion Lewis out if the backfield because all year the D has not been able to effectively defend passes to to RB's. Derrick Henry is going to get his fair share of touches as well. Mariota, imo, isn't a great thrower of the football but we need to contain him because he can make big plays with his legs. I think if we can keep him in the pocket it will limit the things he does best.
Going to be tough game to win.

IndyNorm

I'm sure they'll score plenty on our piss poor D, but if our O plays like it did in the first half last week and less like the 2nd half then we should give them a good game w/ a decent chance of winning. If we get more like the 2nd half then we could be in trouble.

Would also like to see the ST right the ship after last week.

Forcing turnovers on their side of the field might make the difference for the success of our offense today. Sustained drives may not be a given against a very good D. Gotta win that battle of field position.

That was not a really bad pass by Ebron.

There were 2 defenders around Luck, and Luck was the only one who even remotely had a shot at catching the ball ........ make sure that your guy is the only one who has a chance at the reception, and see to it that an incomplete pass is the worst-case scenario.

It could have been worse.

Good info.

Marino's feat is probably the most impressive, since he played in an era in which there was considerably less rule protection for both quarterbacks and receivers......Rodgers may have had a slightly tougher road than Luck, also (because the rules have continually gotten more strict in the past 5-6 years than when Rodgers started playing regularly in the 2008 season.)

Reminds me a bit of my all-time favorite Baltimore Colts team, the 1975 squad. Started 1-4, then gelled and ran off nine straight wins. It was a bunch of young guys who took a bit to learn their roles, and then were tough to stop.

It'll take a ways to get to that level, but this team is a blast to watch, and aside from the return game, they have come SO far since the first few games of the year.

Andrew Luck now has thrown at least three TD's in seven consecutive games, the NFL's longest active streak and tied with Dan Marino for third all time. Only Tom Brady (10 in 2010) and Peyton Manning (eight in 2004) had longer streaks.
