I hope they can finish that game strong, of course. But earlier, Alex Smith had a Joe Theismann moment. It was gruesome.

Ebron was the star last week.
This week he is shut out, but Hilton, Doyle, and Inman shine.
Does this remind anyone else a little of when Peyton could pick between Marvin, Reggie, B-Stokley, Dallas, and Pollard from week-to-week?
It's nice to have options.

Colt McCoy needs to get them into FG range to win it. Can he do it?

Couldn't possibly have predicted it at the time, but if Washington hangs on to win, the Colts would've been tied with the Texicans for the division lead if the Colts had played for the tie. I'm sure all of the mediots will pick up on that tidbit.

Yeah, just saw it. The leg looked like there was no bone in it, the way it bent. Looked like a banana that was ready to go into banana bread.

Remember when we all wondered what Andrew Luck would look like if he had a legit offensive line?
Like this: 83-112 his last 4 games, 13 TDs, 1 INT (off a drop), 132.1 passer rating, a 4-0 record

600 level was sparse when they showed it at the start of the 4th. Probably a lot of Titans fans in the cheap seats, but a regular season game where they're just trying to run out the clock for an entire quarter can be pretty boring in person. Even the stadium announcer sounds bored.

Had they gone for something short to get in range instead of a deep pass, they may well have pulled it off, that was a bad decision.

o
It was.
With 16 seconds left to play there was still time to complete a 10-15 yard pass over the middle, get tackled in bounds, and spike the ball.
To be fair to the Redskins, they were robbed of about a full minute of time because of that horrible defensive holding call that you alluded to in your previous post.

That's 2 consecutive games in which the Texans avoided defeat by the opposing team missing a field goal attempt on (literally) the final play of the game.
Last week, the Broncos' kicker had a much more makeable attempt (52 yards) than did the Redskins' kicker today (63 yards.)

Well, people have made FG's from 63+ (although obviously not common), so it is do-able or makeable, just not likely.

I said that the 52 yard attempt was more makeable than the 63 yard attempt.

He only needed about 5 more yards and that kick was gold.
I think this is the first time since his injury that he has felt 100%.
Did you feel him before the game?

But no one has walked on it since 1972. All the advances in technology and we can’t duplicate what supposedly happened 46 years ago?
