In the second round of the 1983-84 NBA playoffs, Derek Harper made a blunder at the worst time ........ with the game tied in the final seconds of the 4th quarter, he mistakenly thought that his team had the lead and ribbled the remaining time away. The Lakers won the game in overtime, and instead of possibly being even at 2 games apiece, the Lakers had a commanding 3 games to 1 lead. They finished off the Mavericks in Game 5 at the LA Forum.

Fast forward 34 years ........ in Game One of the NBA Finals, the underdog Cleveland Cavaliers were trailing the Warriors by one point with only 4.7 seconds remaining. George Hill was fouled, and went to the free throw line for 2 shots. After making the first one to tie the game, he missed the second. JR Smith made an excellent play to get the offensive rebound ........ but he did not know that the game was tied !!! ) He dribbled the ball back outside to the perimeter. and by the time that his teammate Lebron James got his attention to tell him that the game was tied, it was too late. The clock ran out, and the Warriors went onto win the game in overtime.

I believe that this will unquestionably go down as one of the all-time blunders in NBA postseason history.

As long as GS wins the title, I really don't care.

If you are on the court/field how do you not know what is going on? Situational awareness.

Smith is a dumbass, always has been. LeBron has no help in Cleveland. Warriors just ended up sweeping the Cav's. Wonder where he ends up next year, I doubt he stays in Cleveland.
