Ok, the front page has been throwing an error since forever, I actually thought that CF had finally folded.

This stuff is a lot easer to do when you have AI help. I will try to keep the banner image changing every week, it only takes a couple minutes to do.

I wont say that I "fixed" the front page, but I just got it working so it links to the forum instead of throwing an error. We can put some basic content up there if anyone has ideas, but otherwise it will just be a way to not fail when you try to find us.

In other news, this forum is driven by the 3.Ancient version of Vbulletin, 5.7 is the Newer one or whatever. There is an upgrade path, but not a free one, and I think we would also need to update the back end database, but I don't have time to research that further.

The issue we have is that 3.8 is no longer supported or receives security patches. So the real issue with the front page not working anymore was because there are bots out there that know that look for 3.8 sites, know their security holes and have the ability to redirect traffic from search engines to malicious sites.

I've cleaned the damage, but it's kind of like a junior high lab experiment to see how long it takes before were hacked again. I will figure out how to get us upgraded and run it by Puck.

Cheers!
