Aaron Rodgers has already left the game with an injury after just a few plays, looks like they are bringing out a cart...all the excitement in NYC just got snuffed out!

Really sucks for jets fans. Glad I don't have to listen to Mike Greenberg in the morning. I can only imagine his reaction.
Coach just said it's an ankle injury.

Hopefully he'll just miss a few games, I think this matchup with Allen would have been a good one!
Some people are saying that it is likely an achilles tear....that would be horrible!

Pat McAfee would have made the tackle on the final play of the game.

It's an Achilles injury. Yikes. At 39 years old, we might have seen the last of Rodgers. Just like that.

He'll be back next year, if not in the playoffs this year should the Jets make it and he heals in time for them ...... I'll be very surprised if he allows this catastrophe to be his farewell to his long, storied NFL career.

The Jets are the unluckiest team of all time. I have a few friends that are Jets fans and it's uncanny how this team constantly breaks the hearts of their fans. I think somewhere long ago someone in the Jets organization pissed God off and he's been punishing them ever since.

A lot of guys complaining about turf the last couple of years. This is curious to me.
I've heard a lot of NBA heads discuss the increasing prevalence of injuries amongst players in their game. One of the takes I heard was that the prevalence of AAU programs contributes to this; The kids play basketball year round now and have much more mileage on their bodies than they have in the past. I am not familiar enough with Basketball to be able to assess this in a non-ignorant way, but I do think it's curious.
When I was a kid there was one high school in our region that had turf. The only other time we saw turf was when we played a game in the Georgia Dome. Today almost every high school has turf. Anyone with grass is in the minority.
I wonder if there is a correlation there as well.
