I agree he’s had pretty good press thru Covid. Some of the blue states might actually be pretty important in the primaries with their hatred for Trump. Could help carry DeSantis to the nomination

He overstepped on some stuff, no denying it. However, the mouse club had to much power in that state. Some of what he did was the right thing to do. More governors in blue and red states need to take power away from large corporations who use jobs as extortion.

I have never liked Hillary Clinton. Didn't vote for her when she ran for president.
However, comparing Clinton to Trump is comparing apples to oranges because the laws were changed in 2018. Congress made changes which increased the seriousness + penalties for mishandling classified info and Trump signed the new rules into law. So Trump should have known about these changes - unless you are saying that Trump (like Biden) has memory problems because he is a dinosaur. Trump and Biden are sooooo old.
So now, we need to compare Trump to Biden and Pence. For some reason, you left out Pence.

Make it simple, flat tax on everything. Rich people have more money, they get to pay more.
No more crazy ass exceptions. Less paperwork, that means the IRS shrinks. Simplify the tax code, let the rich carry a burden they can afford.

I could get behind a flat tax. I would agree to replacing it with a national sales tax, except it would erode the 401k accounts of retirees.

There maybe some financial items, like 403 B, for educators that will require a grandfathering or adjustments so they are not harmed. That is a job of the financial minds of the nation.

You will see that they never made more than 4 movies in a year. If you did, all that money from the fifth movie went to taxes. It was for me in my lifetime. So it’s a fact for me I guess. If you like higher taxes then so be it. I’m dam sick of this “temporary” tax.
But are you making a good comparison between this latest tax cut and the previous reductions?
Sure, the $3700 tax reduction for you may have been the "largest" from a dollars/cents standpoint.
But if you wish to compare this tax reduction to the prior tax reductions during your lifetime, you should calculate the % reduction in taxes for each tax cut - because I doubt that your earnings / tax liability remained fixed and was the same over the last 20 or 30 or 40 years.
And unless you have some type of life event happen - going full time to part time, changing careers, etc - the money you earned and tax liability was probably the highest during this last tax reduction vs the prior tax reductions.
So unless you went back and calculated the % reductions for every single tax cut during your lifetime, your comment doesn't really mean that much because if you had the highest earnings with the highest tax liability (when compared to prior years), then it makes sense that the "largest" reduction from a dollars/cents perspective was from this latest tax cut.
