Insane that LB is the second highest tag.

Well, they lump in all LB's, right? So a MLB like Bobby Okereke and pass rusher like TJ Watt are subject to the same tag?

How important was Leonard to the Colts. Just look at the number of turn overs he would create.

Tians and Jags are both $20M+ over the cap for next year. Gonna see them both try to lower that number.

$20M is really nothing. They can restructure a contract or 2 and make a cut or 2 and totally reverse that number.
Ballard will be proud that we will probably be $40M under and not spend a dime of it.

It means they will not be able to be aggressive in the off-season. as to the Colts, we have about $10M in space, but not as many players on contract. We are not in great shape, but not as bad as those two teams. Cutting Ryan would make it easier to sign a stud or two.

I believe he's going to forced to change his approach.

Spotrac puts us at almost 12M under the cap. Just cutting Ryan and Foles which has to be a forgone conclusion puts us at $25 under the cap.
So yeah, I over guesstimated. Cut Kelly and MOC and we are under by $40M.

I just checked the Titans roster. They really have no top dollar players they can cut. Maybe trannyhill, but who is the replacement?
Jags only have Shaquille Griffin with a cap savings over $10M.

Overthecap.com has us with effective cap space at $5M. Actual cap space is ~$12.5M.
