But Brady missed on his two passes and Bucs had to punt. I can't tell you how much I would enjoy to see Brady get eliminated today and hopefully he retires. I'll go to my local bar and buy drinks for everyone in the place.

o

That's probably one of those "lifetime reputation" calls, somewhat in the fashion of The Boy Who Cried Wolf ....... Ndamukong Suh has been such a dirty scumbag for so many years in the NFL, the refs are probably scrutinizing him more than most others.

Bill Laimbeer had a reputation for being a very dirty player in the NBA. In the 1987 Eastern Conference Finals, Robert Parish hit him with a 3-punch combination, chipping one of Laimbeer's teeth. The referee who was looking right at what happened wasn't more than 5 feet away from it all ....... and he didn't even call a foul on Parrish, let alone eject him from the game for throwing not just one, but THREE punches.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_ow29Ea9hCQ

Parrish talks about what happened, many years later ......

Here's the game that I was referring to ...... I'll try to scroll through it , and find that delay-of-game call for spiking the ball. I remember that it occurred in the 2nd quarter, when the Colts finally got their first 1st down of the game.

After Von Miller recovered the fumble, I said "Don't do what the Falcons did in the Super Bowl 5 years ago ...... keep the ball on the ground for 3 plays, run 2 minutes off of the clock, and kick what would have been the game-clinching field goal for a 30-13 lead."

Why they were lined up in the shotgun in the first place in that situation, I have no idea ...... they got cute, just like the Falcons did when they were in almost the same position in the Super Bowl 5 years ago, and it cost them.

No, I'm saying he is still a dog, still kickin ass, could have kicked ass for us, but instead our leadership decided to select back to back players at the position with our first 2 picks, and one of them was clearly NOT going to perform anywhere near VM level for at least half the year because he couldn't even F'king play.

Maybe we'll get lucky and Ballard will pick LT back to back in rounds 2 and 3 this year.

The announcer said that the Bills should have rushed 3 instead of 4 on the last play from scrimmage.

I say say that the Bills should have rushed ZERO players. Think about it ....... there were only 8 seconds to play, so if the Chiefs didn't score a touchdown, then they would have had to complete the play in 7 seconds or less before the clock ran out. They should had have ELEVEN defensive backs ...... 4 at the 5 yard-line, 4 more at the 25 yard-line, and 3 more at the 40 yard-line. Then, it would have been highly unlikely that Mahomes would have been able to complete a pass of any significant yardage in that limited amount of time (7 seconds or less.)

Good call. And Romo is dead on, should have kicked that ball to about the 15 and forced them to fair catch it there or try to run it and waste time. Touch back was a killer.

I'm with you. It's actually sort of troubling. Sitting here like "what am I supposed to do next, isn't there another drive to watch".

Only game I can remember being that wild down the stretch and some of this is probably my childhood nostalgia kicking in, was the Chargers / Dolphins in the playoffs in 82. That's the game where Marino and Strock both went for over 400 and it establish Kellen Winslow as a HOF player. That's it, that's the only game I recall being as furious as this. Watching Buffalo last night...I'm not sure how the Colts dominated that team, just a few weeks ago? Romo called it last night....they should have forced the Chiefs to return the kickoff and eat up some of that 15 seconds on the clock. I know they would have run the risk of a long return, but they would likely have had less than 10 seconds remaining in the game.
