I know that AR wasn't sacked, but he wasn't protected well either.

He missed a couple of throws and there were a couple of drops.

AR played well against the Lions in my opinion. Around 7 passes were either dropped or taken away by the fucking refs. A few other passes were thrown away to avoid sacks. The oline was a joke, and we had no running game outside of AR. First time I felt this sorry for a QB in a long time. AR gave his all, and those fucking lineman who were criticizing him earlier need to STFU and do their fucking job!

The fact that Richardson was not sacked with the offensive line playing as badly as they today did tells you a lot about Richardson ...... the guy is a fighter, in every sense of the word.

Also, he had 0 INT's today, in addition to those 0 sacks ...... I'll take a QB that goes 11-for-28 if he has 0 sacks, 0 INT's, several crucial drops, and numerous bad calls by the referees while taking snaps behind a very bad offensive line every day of the week, and twice on Sundays.

AR did not have a good day, however, he was the only offensive player to show up for this game.

What more would you want from AR. No running game, really piss poor oline play, really damn good passes that were dropped or taken away by the refs, didn't take sacks and threw the ball away instead even with 3 guys hanging on him. He ran his ass off. I guess I must have watched a different game than most people.

I think he means AR did not have a good day because the others did not show up. Tucker was almost as bad as Pryor was at OT and Satele was on the line a few years back. Those issues, plus TE screw ups, made his game turn out much worse than it should have.

I would argue that Pitman and Downs showed up too.

(1 WEEK LATER) ) [vs. PATRIOTS, 12/01]

Once again, Richardson's 12-for-24 belie how good his overall play was ....... he had numerous drops by his receivers, and he also avoided being sacked for the 2nd consecutive game.

He did have 2 INT's, but I think that an apt description of his overall play would be nothing short of ultimate leadership with clutch plays at crucial times.

Why is this article in the Anthony Richardson thread ??? Because if Anything Richardson gets a solid offensive line playing in front of him, look out. )
