I think the $18-$19m a year is the right number. Minimum of 4 years, maximum of 6 years.
I hate how much guaranteed money is getting paid on NFL contracts now. Completely will hamstring teams who bet wrong....much like the old rookie contracts for top ten picks that paid out tens of millions for guys who had never played a down in the NFL. However much guaranteed money, I also agree that it will all be paid out by the end of year four. |

If you work 40 years, you have to average $25,000 per year to make a million. If you mean few people even keep a million, that's a different thing and I agree.
There's no way that will even be possible. Over 50% of the contract will be guaranteed and they're not going to frontload it that much. |
