Frank Reich on Shaq Leonard's status for Sunday: it sounds unlikely the star LB will play in Houston — "he just needs more action," Reich said, meaning practice.

But Reich knows Leonard's different, so nothing is decided. "He’s far from 100%, but that’s OK... he can play at 80%."

I'm actually kind of relieved they're leaning towards sitting Leonard. From his first practice to week 1 is less time than the rest of the guys had from first practice to preseason game 1. Seems too soon, but we'll see.

I dunno, leonard was 19 when we last won a home opener. I think he plays.

Why would Reich say he needs more time and then a few seconds later say he could play at 80%...sounds like the Shaq Attack Maniac could very well see some action!

I can't wait for the season to start, hope I feel the same way half way through the schedule!

Imma thinkin they play him but for a limited number of snaps to get him play time but lower exposure pending how he reacts.
