No reading the market.

Dollar Cost Average (DCA) into the market (invest the same amount every month regardless of if the market is up or down. When up, you buy less shares and you buy more shares when itis down or "on sale.") and let your investments without rebalancing.

Guy I listen to says no single stocks until you have more than $1m invested; the risk is too high. Good growth stock mutual funds with long track records.

If you want the math and history, find a copy of "Stocks for the Long Run" by Jeremy Siegel. Talks about how the market as a whole has never failed to be up over any 8 year timespan since the late 1600s in England and then the U.S. regardless of Civil War, World War, Great Depression or anything inbetween.

Also, no bank investment advisor; those guys are barely trained.

I have some advice on that if you want to PM me

Mrs Puck and I were in talks with a friend who is already a hydroponics grower. He was working on setting up in Michigan. Ohio is now available with much easier rules. Indiana will more than likely be legal for medical in 2019. Lots of hoops and whistles but the return is tremendous

Sadly my friend died Tuesday morning of a heart attach cause from a blood clot because he had to be taken off blood thinners to have a colonoscopy preformed last Wed. He was my league golf partner and a very good guy and a Ft Wayne fireman... his funeral is tomorow

Anyway. If you investigate the numbers you will see that what I am saying is true. We are still investingating just a huge setback and loss of a very good friend
