There were some pretty long and pretty clutch 3rd downs also.

(vs. RAVENS, 11/08)

1) ) The Colts made 1 trip inside the red zone ...... they scored a TD in that one trip.

On the final play of the game the Colts technically had an additional trip in the red zone, as they were on the opponent's 20 yard-line. By that time the game had been decided, and the clock ran out after the Colts ran one play, which gained 15 yards.

2) ) The Colts were 3-for-12 on 3rd down conversions, but were essentially 4-for-12 in terms of success ...... on one of their failed 3rd-down attempts, they went for it on 4th down and succeeded.

(vs. RAIDERS, 12/13)

1) ) The Colts made 5 trips inside the red zone ...... they scored 3 TD's and 2 FG's in thiose 5 trips. Also, one of the FG's may have been a TD if the Colts had not run out of time (there was only 1 second remaining in the 1st half when the Colts used their final timeout and kicked the field goal.)

2) ) The Colts were a blistering 10-for-13 on 3rd-down conversions this afternoon. )

(vs. BILLS, 1/09) lll [Wild Card Playoff Game]

Philip Rivers LITERALLY was touched one time by the Bills defense ...... on 46 pass attempts overall there were no Sacks, no INT's, and he was touched/pushed only one time.

On 5 trips inside the Red Zone they had 2 TD's, 1 FG, 1 Missed FG, and 1 Turnover on Downs ...... they did score an additional TD from outside of the Red Zone (a 27-yard TD pass from Rivers to Doyle.)

The Colts were 9-for-17 on 3rd down conversions, although they did convert 2 4th-down attempts on their final drive late in the 4th quarter to make it essentially 11-for-17 in that department.
