If we were trying that hard to be the Eagles, we wouldn't have an immobile QB am I right? They are lightyears ahead of us in explosive ability, and may have two receivers that might be better than our best

We are dead last in points scored thus far this season.

I’m talking about the lines and their investment in the lines. Notice they are spending high round draft picks every year. We have a couple then low round picks. Notice the Eagles are beating people but they are whooping them on the lines.

The fact that we are starting 5th and 6th round picks is what is holding this OL back.

FWIW - The Eagles are currently starting both a former 7th Round Draft Pick at LT (Jordan Mailata) and a former 6th Round Draft Pick at C (Jason Kelce)

Our offense stinks. KC just kept shooting themselves in the foot all game last week starting with the opening kickoff, and finishing with Jones' penalty flag at the end.

I think it’s the lack of a solid replacement for the LT position. As soon as Castonzo hinted at retirement we should have been drafting a replacement. The Eagles have had some bad seasons though which help their draft position and quality plus our draft picks as well.

A high pick for Q, then a second rounder for Smith. After that it’s been low round picks and journey men for us.

https://www.pro-football-reference.c.../phi/draft.htm

They drafted Andre Dilliard 22 overall to hopefully be a future LT. It’s just tremendous luck that Mailata has become what he has.

I think things will solidify if the oline can get its protection sorted. Everything I’ve listened to in the last two weeks says it should get better as the season goes along because it’s mostly communication. Just will Matt Ryan survive that long?
