With Cook signing for 8 million and Elliot for 6 million JT is looking like a total outlier. I posted on another thread that after watching the first preseason game it is obvious why they don't throw a lot of money at JT, this isn't his team anymore-we live and die with AR. JT is a nice complimentary piece.

Taylor insisting he will not participate is fine, assuming it's the truth (I personally agree with him. His margin for error is razor thin so he needs to be 100%).
If it isn't, how long can someone play that game? How long can Taylor outright refuse to play? At what point does our prestigious organization have the leverage to hold him accountable, retain/keep his agreed upon contractual services, but not have to pay him? Keeping the relationship strictly business like is fine by me. I won't feel completely awful when they run his ass into the ground like I would if this happened to Pitt. |

This morning they said on the radio that the rumor is Raiders dropped their Jacobs offer of 11.5 per to 10M based on the Cook and Zeke deals. JT's agent better be ready to talk to his client about how overplayed his hand and a nice $8-9M pay check isn't so bad...
