He played just fine in the Giant's 43 D. In fact, he and Snacks Harrison were the heart of one of the best run stopping lines in the league.

Who cares? It's peanuts for an NFL team.

If this is about fit with Hankins, then going after Suh makes sense. Eberflus is going to use Tampa 2 concepts, and Suh's best skillset is as a 3 technique 1 gap penetrator. He'd be much like Warren Sapp in that role.

Sure as hell hard to understand how this move makes them better. One of the few areas that seemed set is now just another question mark on a team filled with them.
I’m not typically one to over react, but it’s damn hard not to be worried about Ballard’s direction with this team. |

Doubt they're going after Suh, and if they released Hankins to free up money for Suh, then what happens if they don't get Suh?

I was merely speaking to fit. I have no idea why Ballard is hoarding cap space like Smaug the Defiler.

They're sticking with scheme fit. If our new scheme can't use Hankins then it sucks. This is like when Freeney wasn't a scheme fit. Fuck the scheme. Adjust to the talent on the roster. That's what good coaches do.
