Default Ballard

I've been a huge supporter of Ballard. I believe in his way of building a team, through the lines. He has built a great offensive line that has been decimated my injuries. I give him a break on that. He, however, has been a disaster at building the defensive line. Choosing guys with physical traits that need to be developed depends on A) choosing guys that are able to develop and B) having coaches that can develop them (Ballard hired the coaches). He has failed miserably and until he succeeds this team is going absolutely nowhere. The Colts are dead last in QB pressures with 25, are better at 31st in hurries with 8, and shine our best with sacks at 28th with 10 sacks. No team is going to win anything with these kind of numbers. Maybe the scheme does suck but so do the players implementing that scheme. This is 100% on Ballard. Not sure where to go from here but it is fucking depressing how much we have spent on defensive ends and how little we have to show for it.
