He’s a fiery competitor he’s played 16 road games for 2 years now behind a shitty o line. Brisset has the arm but refuses to throw deep so what’s the difference

Rivers is washed up. This isn't a comparison on him and Jacoby. We are talking about drafting a QB who can make us better for many years, not just one or two.

If he's washed up, then Ballard won't sign him. We'll find out soon enough.

As far as drafting a QB that can make us better for years, of course that's what the end goal is, but if they draft someone who isn't ready, then you need someone until then and they'll have to decide if we want to upgrade for that time or not.

Right and out of the 3 options (brissett, rookie qb, rivers) the QB that gives us the best chance to win a superbowl next year would be Rivers

From what I was reading Chargers fans have said Rivers is still ok but that is oline has been trash for years. He didn’t have any time to throw apparently and was always getting pressure up the middle.

Those aren't the only 3 options.

I don't know, but I'd place my bet on Bridgewater if I was making the call.

Bridgewater had a nice 5 game stretch I’d be hesitant to throw him big $$$
