Don't know who this guy is though.
Well it’s a good edge rusher and WR FA year, so makes sense. Draft oline maybe and more BPA and we should be good. Might think about corner some as well.

What about Chris Ballard’s history suggests that he would (1) leak his intentions to anyone much less this guy, (2) ever say he was going to go “all out” for anyone/anything, not to mention doing so before knowing what the free agent field will look like, (3) torpedo his carefully constructed cap planning to sign free agents now at the expense of possibly signing in house free agents in a year or two, or (4) reach such a conclusion before he has even secured his starting QB.

We should make a move to get Watson here. The Texans owner died and his brother took over and he doesn't know what he's doing. An "Evangelical preacher" con man/charlatan/grifter, Jack Easterby, has taken over their franchise. He's in the owner's ear like Rasputin/Grima Wormtongue. Houston is done for years and Watson should just sit/hold out. If he came here he'd be free to kick Texan ass for 10 years.

In the end, JJ Watt signs with the Cardinals for ~$15M a year.

JJ Watt will line up opposite Chandler Jones and with DeAndre Hopkins. He will also make some serious money — more than $15M a year. Huge development.

Well, all of the talking heads were wrong, no surprise at that.

Glad he went to Arizona.
