I don't even understand this whole concept at all. I don't know why they don't just squeeze the bye weeks into Weeks 7-10 of the season. Then give 8 teams off week 7, 8 off week 8, 8 off week 9, and 8 off week 10. Then each team doesn't have to wait so long or so early for one. Or hell, even give like 16 teams off Week 8 and 16 teams off Week 9. There are still enough football games to be put nationally.
