They certainly seemed to Make Vander Esch disappear. The one play he had was nulled by a penalty. Cowgirls fans really overrate that dude.

I'm not sure how much of that is because of Nelson's hate-injection across that line, or of it's just finally a matter of Kelly, Nelson, Castonzo, and a competent stable of depth filling out the right side finally gelling into a UNIT, but I'm immensely grateful either way.

Plus, you know Kelly's knee is probably still semi-fucked, but he's gutting it out and playing with true malevolence in his soul. Watching our RBs follow 300+lb blockers upfield is a thing of beauty.

EDIT: Also, I did DVR the game, so if you know what spot to look for I'll try to find it. I might even make a GIF.
Man if you could find it that would be great. I think it came on the 3rd Qtr 6 yard blast by Mack. If my memory is right it was coming out of the commercial break leading into the kick off and they were sitting next to each other on the sidelines with some stats being shown to reflect the dominant running game....

1st & Goal at DAL 6
(11:23 - 3rd) Marlon Mack 6 Yard Rush A.Vinatieri extra point is GOOD, Center-L.Rhodes, Holder-R.Sanchez.

I had a chance to hear a bit of Jeff Saturday's assessment of the game and in response to a question re Ryan's development in year 3 he spoke at length about the football IQ he has. Beyond all his physical attributes he thinks he sees and understands things at a level that makes him incredibly valuable to the team when he's out there, especially couple with a QB like Luck who has a similarly high football IQ. He is very, very high on him and sees him as pro bowl caliber if he can stay healthy.

Do OL always sit on the bench in their on-field orientation? They're sitting RT to LT.

The OL always did this during the Manning years.

Do it again next week. I love reading things people take from a game

So do I, which is why I'm disappointed when you take weeks off.
