Thomas was the first player in the NFL to be ejected from a game under the NFL's new helmet rule when he made an illegal hit on a Seattle Seahawks receiver during a play in the fourth quarter of the Colts' preseason opener. He joined the Colts as a free agent in July, and previously spent time in the league with the Buffalo Bills and Pittsburgh Steelers since his NFL career began in 2013.
Delaire has spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Washington Redskins and Carolina Panthers since he went undrafted in 2015 out of Towson, but was not on a team in 2017. He has 15 career games to his name, all in appearances for the Panthers, along with 13 tackles, three tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks.
